Impressions

This page is dedicated to the works of photographers whose images of Sasha Popova carry artistic value, mood, and expressive authenticity — yet, for various reasons, do not currently meet the criteria for a full, individual portfolio page in the photobook. Still, their inclusion here is deliberate: each selected image offers more than documentation — it conveys emotion, atmosphere, and style.

Selection Criteria

To be featured on a dedicated photographer’s page, a contributor must provide at least five usable photographs, with the recommendation that at least one be in landscape format to ensure visual diversity and layout balance. Typically, three photos per session are showcased on such pages, though this is flexible — the final number depends on the richness, uniqueness, and overall artistic impact of the material.

In addition to the photographs, each dedicated page includes a “Behind the Scenes” section — a short video (usually 15 to 30 seconds, up to a maximum of 1 minute) capturing the atmosphere of the photoshoot. These clips are most often recorded by Sasha herself on her phone, offering a personal look into the creative process. However, if the photographer also provides a video from their own perspective, it will gladly be included. These behind-the-scenes moments help expand the narrative and bring viewers closer to the energy and spirit of the session.

Photographers featured on this page are represented with no more than two images. If more material is provided through future collaboration, a separate page will be created, and the selected photos here will be migrated there — with no duplication.

Event and Reportage Photography

This section also includes reportage-style images taken during live performances, premieres, events, and other public appearances. While not part of formal photoshoots, each image featured here retains a distinct artistic quality — through composition, lighting, or emotional resonance. The goal is not just to document, but to reflect the aesthetic character of the moment.

Open for Future Collaboration

The “Various Photographers” page is dynamic and ever-evolving. Any contributor featured here may become part of the main collection as the collaboration deepens and new sessions emerge. This space is not a final destination — but a prelude to something larger. We invite photographers to continue the artistic dialogue, because visual storytelling never truly ends — it simply shifts its frame.
